NHRDN Udaan Introduction: NHRDN, Mumbai Chapter has launched a new initiative Udaan. Mumbai has many Business Hubs viz. Nariman Point, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Andheri, Navi Mumbai, etc. Through Udaan, we intend to launch several Zones within Mumbai City and beyond ie. Thane, Navi Mumbai, Borivali, etc. The idea of Udaan was born out of a need to reach out to HR professionals across Mumbai.

This Udaan was launched in month of May 2016 at Mumbai along with NHRDN own Digital platform “Agora http://youtu.be/6_M-0C9XdOY . The Udaan launch was successful after 2 months of working rigorously under supervision of NHRDN EC Team. Udaan gives us an opportunity to reach out to HR professionals in the respective Zones. It will also be convenient to HR professionals in the zone to attend the NHRDN programs in the Zone, as it will reduce distances, save time and avoid traffic. This new initiative Udaan is being led by Ashish Gakrey, EC Member - NHRDN Mumbai Chapter and SM HR - Capgemini India Pvt Ltd. Each Zone will have team of 5 members including the Zonal President to ensure Zonal activities run in a smooth manner. There are 11 Zones in Mumbai at this moment and they are as below:

Zone 1 = Colaba/Nariman Point to Parel/Lower Parel - TBD
Zone 2 = Chembur, Sion, Dadar, Mahim - TBD
Zone 3 = Empower Zone - Bandra East, BKC, Kurla headed by Sakshi Kashyap, AVP HR - Citibank
