GTU Innovation Council (www.gtuinnovationcouncil.ac.in) was established in August 2010. It was toddler initially wherein discrete experiments and initiatives were taken involving young students which helped to tickle their mind-set to become more creative and problem solvers. Slowly and gradually with incremental baby steps it groomed into a very mature centre on innovation & entrepreneurship wherein as on date we have more than 25000 footfalls through various innovation/IPR/Design/Start-up and allied efforts. To appreciate the innovators and create a sustainable culture innovation awards are given away in every GTU Innovation Sankul day by GTU Innovation Council. Like every year this year too awards will be given away in three categories as below.
1) Pedagogical Innovation Awards (PIA)
2)Innovative Students’ Co-Creation Awards for Leadership and Excellence (i-SCALE)
3)GIC i2i (Innovate to Impact) Award
