This will be a demo session on building an E-commerce website using MEAN Stack.

Agenda

6:30 PM to 6:45 PM: Icebreaker, networking

6:45 PM to 8:15 PM : Technical session

• Designing the data model in MongoDB

• Building the database in MongoDB

• Setting up an express app, and the overview of the project structure.

• Creating RESTful APIs with NodeJs & Express Js

• Building the storefront in AngularJs and integrating the front-end app with the NodeJs API

• Hosting the app live in Heroku, MongoLab

8:15 PM to 8:30 PM : Pizza, soft drinks, networking
