Entrepreneurship has gained greater significance at the global level under changing economic scenario. Global economy in general and Indian economy in particular is poised for accelerated growth driven by entrepreneurship. India is 3rd largest startup hub and it is amongst the top five countries in the world. Gujarat as a heartland of entrepreneurship, it aims at providing a platform for great ideas and new business.
The idea should not only be feasible but also should be desirable. It’s an evident that entrepreneurs create initiatives, which in turn creates opportunities, which further creates jobs. The biggest challenge faced by the young entrepreneur is to survive the valley of Death, i.e. the initial operational 1000 days of an organization.

There is a growing interest in the role that entrepreneurship can play as a catalyst to achieve economic and social development objectives. This is CII's Gujarat Taskforce on Startups first initiative to throw a light on these problems and give a unique solution.
