We are merging the two events - Headstart Ahmedabad's Basics of Starting Up and eChai's Investors' Perspective Program.

About Headstart Ahmedabad's Basics of Starting Up:

"Since past 5 years, a lot of books, courses, bootcamps and numerous pep talks on “STARTUPS” have been carried out by experienced entrepreneurs to educate emerging entrepreneurs and startups. If you crawl the web, you’d find gazillions of resources. Here is when it becomes hard for us to decide which resources to count on.

In this Startup Saturday session, we bring to you ‘The Basics Of Starting Up’ - which will be covering Startup’s inception essentials. This session is modularised in a manner which gathers profound experiences, failures and hard-learned lessons of our speakers and brings you the ultimate checklist. Modularising this session is just to follow an event flow, but it awaits to bring to you some immersive stories from our speakers."

Toward the end of this program - we'll have Fundraising For Startups Panel Discussion where we will have a group of founders & investors to share their insight about Fundraising.

Date: 15th Sept, Saturday Time: 5 pm to 8 pm
Venue: CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad.

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

“I have no hesitation in saying that my association with eChai has been a gateway into the startup ecosystem. Through this platform, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many young and dynamic entrepreneurs. These interactions have been immensely enriching - I’ve learned a great deal and have always tried to offer guidance whenever approached. It’s a truly symbiotic relationship that I deeply value, and it wouldn’t have been possible without eChai.”

"From late-night brainstorming over chai to early morning founder calls, eChai has been more than just a network for me; it’s been home base for ideas, impact, and inspiration. What started as a simple meetup years ago turned into a powerful movement, connecting founders, creators, and dreamers. I’ve had the privilege of seeing startups find product-market fit, marketers (like me) find unexpected collaborations, and most importantly, people finding their tribe. संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं – Let us move together, speak together. It’s not just a verse from the Rigveda — it’s how Jatin and the entire eChai community truly operate. We don’t just network, we grow together. Forever grateful to be a part of the eChai Effect.

"For me, eChai is a second home. I've been associated with it since the early days, when it was already setting a different tone for how startup communities could work. As a traditional business owner entering the new-age D2C space, eChai supported me in every direction. Over the years, it became my window to the startup world — and also gave me lifelong friends who continue to show up, for business and beyond."
