About The Heritage Film Festival:
aadhar is proud to share that our project The Heritage Film Festival (HFF) was initiated in 2012, as part of our mission to raise awareness about India’s rich artistic heritage. In order to preserve India’s finest cultural legacies, aadhar initiated HFF to explore India’s glorious heritage through audiovisual media. The Heritage Film Festival is a project by aadhar to spread awareness and educate public about India’s heritage through films.

aadhar is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to develop programs and opportunities that support traditional artisans and craftspeople, in an effort to sustain their livelihood, and contribute to the revitalisation of the collective cultural heritage of India.

aadhar acts as a collaborator and facilitator among artisan communities, individuals, public and private organisations.

• Maintain indigenous identity of the traditional arts.
• Encourage professionalism among the traditional artisan community.
