Inauguration of Intel-SINE-DST Hardware Incubation Program
August 06, 2016
Saturday
We are pleased to inform you that SINE, the business incubator at IIT Bombay, and Intel, a world leader in innovations, are initiating a collaborative incubation program for hardware start-ups, with support from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
The program aims to address the gaps in the start-up ecosystem in India that hardware companies face for product development and commercialization. The 1-year incubation will help startups with grants, access to follow-on funding, intensive training, one-on-one mentoring, technical support from Intel experts, business service support, as well as prototyping and manufacturing support.
We are launching the program on 6 August 2016. The event agenda includes inauguration of the incubation program, speeches, panel discussion, and networking over lunch. It would be good to hear your views on facilitating hardware start-ups in India, and to explore ways of working together. Seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please register your interest and we will follow up with confirmation and official invitation.
