The idea behind Startup Open House is, as hinted by the name, to open up the vibrant start-up community for everyone to discover.

Entrepreneurs show the rest of the community a prototype of the product they've been working on or a new feature. This is a great opportunity to get to understand what the startups in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai are up to, give feedback, advice and learn what mistakes to avoid.

The demos will be followed by '5-minute favors'. The idea is simple - everybody present, exchange simple 5-minute favors. In 5 minutes a person can - Comment on the website UI; Introduce two people with a well-written email; Share or retweet something on Facebook or Twitter; and so on.

Did we mention, we do all this over some snacks and drinks on the house?
