IEEE Student Branch
Event Details:

The students of IEEE Student Branch, Nirma University have organised the annual technical fest – “Technodyssey 2016” on 14th-15th October 2016.

We have a variety of events and workshops planned. Technodyssey will witness the best coders of state, interested and curious students & professionals, experts and wannabe's of electronic and electrical fields - altogether at one place.

Our flagship event this year is the Start-up Conclave which would help professionals and students to find exciting opportunities and make an impact. It will be a community building event bringing together local startup peers, key industry thought leaders, mentors, educators, and investors for interactive dialogues on relevant entrepreneurial topics.

We all understand the importance of interning. Many talented students don’t get a chance to do an internship or get a job because of lack of opportunities. What could be better than working at start-ups? With this vision in mind, the conclave also aims at connecting start-up enthusiast graduates/undergraduates to the participating technology start-ups so that they get the relevant experience in their desired field.

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

“When we launched LegalWiz.in back in 2016, concept of procuring legal and compliance services through a digital commerce platform wasn't as prominent in India. eChai played a significant role in providing the early adopters, and building significant positioning in the startup fraternity. Overtime, eChai grew to be a massive network of like-minded entrepreneurs and extended that benefit to all the members in a true "co-rise" spirit. I personally love to attend eChai events, learn from subject matter experts who share relatable and actionable insights and experiences. For startup journeys, it is so important to be surrounded by people who can add relevance, perspective, and push you to do better. Most importantly a group of people where you aren't being judged about things going right or wrong, but be a motivational force that keeps you going, yet keeping you in check. eChai is that place for me!”

"eChai has played a truly pivotal role in HummingBird’s journey — even before Day Zero. From ideation to establishment and into growth, it’s been a constant source of support. It connected me with incredible people who’ve become more than just friends. One of the biggest reasons I chose to stay in Ahmedabad is because of the eChai community. It has shaped my growth — both personally and professionally — in ways that are hard to articulate. Honestly, words fall short when I try to express what eChai means to me. I’m deeply thankful and forever grateful to eChai for being such an integral part of my journey."

"From late-night brainstorming over chai to early morning founder calls, eChai has been more than just a network for me; it’s been home base for ideas, impact, and inspiration. What started as a simple meetup years ago turned into a powerful movement, connecting founders, creators, and dreamers. I’ve had the privilege of seeing startups find product-market fit, marketers (like me) find unexpected collaborations, and most importantly, people finding their tribe. संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं – Let us move together, speak together. It’s not just a verse from the Rigveda — it’s how Jatin and the entire eChai community truly operate. We don’t just network, we grow together. Forever grateful to be a part of the eChai Effect.
