We are pleased to announce that, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing its annual flagship event “12th India Innovation Summit 2016” on 28th and 29th July 2016 at Hotel Sheraton at Brigade Gateway, World Trade Centre in Bengaluru. Mr Kris Gopalakrishnan, Past President CII & Co-Founder, Infosys Limited is Chairing the Core Committee of the eminent CEOs from prominent corporates and Institutes for the 12th India Innovation Summit.

The theme of the 12th innovation summit is "The Spirit of Innovation – Celebrating the Entrepreneur" and it reflects the current mood and context of the younger population in the country. The theme strives to address the spirit of the innovator, the trigger for doing something different and the zeal that make it is as a scalable business in spite of numerous challenges faced by the innovator both at the personal level and ecosystem level.

It takes much more to be an entrepreneur than coming up with an interesting idea as an innovative thinker. It is somewhere along this journey, the innovator in the person transforms into an entrepreneur in terms of overall mission, market, and model.

The suggested session topics for the Summit are: (1) Hospitality in Digital World – The Game Changers; (2) Digital Media – The New Gurus in Education and Entertainment; (3) Online Retail – Fashion and Food; (4) Redefining Mobility – The Rise of Transport Aggregators; (5) Intrapreneurship and Open Innovation (6) Artificial Intelligence and Robotics; (7) Fintech and Payment Systems and (8) Healthcare Delivery on Cloud. There will be a Banquet Session with 3M-CII Innovation Challenge Award ceremony and a Dinner Talk on ‘Innovation in Passion beyond profession’ by an eminent personality – apart from Inaugural Sessions and Valedictory sessions of the Summit.
