Dicot: Linking Machines to the Cloud for Smarter Factories
What We Do
As India rises as a global manufacturing powerhouse, digital transformation in factories has shifted from being a luxury to an absolute necessity. While many businesses focus on refining ERPs and CRMs, the heart of the challenge lies in bridging the gap between humans and machines—unlocking critical production and process data. This data fuels the backbone of manufacturing, helping industries generate insightful reports, conduct audits, enable remote monitoring and control, and carry out timely maintenance.
Consider something as simple yet vital as manufacturing an ice-cream cone. Achieving the perfect baking temperature isn’t just a technical requirement—it’s a commitment to quality. If something goes wrong, having the data to trace back ensures accountability and improvement. Whether it’s pharmaceuticals, food production, textiles, foundries, or ceramics, industries depend on precise control of parameters like temperature, pressure, humidity, and speed to maintain excellence.
Yet, industrial software today is often overwhelming—complex to operate, expensive to maintain, and inaccessible without extensive training. It creates unnecessary hurdles for industries striving to modernize.
At Dicot, we’re changing this narrative. Our mission is to humanize industrial software—making it intuitive, fast to implement, and truly user-friendly. By automating repetitive tasks, stripping away unnecessary complexity, and prioritizing what genuinely matters, we’re helping industries save time, cut costs, and embrace digitalization with confidence and ease.
How It All Began
During my first year of college, I developed a fascination for understanding how things are made. I spent much of my free time visiting factories in and around Ahmedabad, an opportunity made possible by my father’s connections in the industry. On these visits, I noticed a recurring issue—most factories relied on manual systems or bookkeepers to record data and control processes. These methods not only left room for error but also made the records unreliable, impacting overall efficiency.

These methods not only left room for error but also made the records unreliable, impacting overall efficiency.
This observation stayed with me. Over time, I began researching the existing solutions to this problem, only to find that digitalizing factory processes was prohibitively expensive, frustratingly complex, and extremely time-consuming. That realization became my turning point—it inspired me to build a solution that simplifies industrial digitalization, crafted in India but designed to serve industries around the world.
What Makes us Tick
We’re driving meaningful change in the industry on multiple fronts. Not only are we significantly reducing the cost of implementing industrial-grade IoT, but we’re also cutting down the time it takes to get these systems up and running. Our products are thoughtfully designed with the actual users in mind—whether it’s the blue-collar worker who interacts with the system daily or the management team seeking a high-level overview of operations.

Our products are thoughtfully designed with the actual users in mind—whether it’s the blue-collar worker who interacts with the system daily or the management team seeking a high-level overview of operations.
Because our products are unorthodox, they require a unique business model. To address this, we’ve invested heavily in training a network of System Integrators (SIs) who customize our solutions to meet the specific needs of end customers. We’ve also developed a system that empowers these SIs to perform installations independently. By enabling them to generate licenses for our software—without needing our direct involvement—we’ve created a seamless, scalable model that puts efficiency and autonomy at the forefront.
Traction So Far
Dicot was incorporated in 2022. We are proud to have end-users like Tata Steel, BHEL, BEL, ISRO, IISc, Electrotherm India Ltd., Deep Industries Limited, Apollo Tyres Ltd., and 600+ factories across the globe. One of the biggest moments was when GE Healthcare started using our products despite having their own product which is similar. Apart from this, we have also been awarded top startup at GTU.
Meet the Team
Our team is young and dynamic, with an average age of just 23, bringing unmatched energy and fresh perspectives to everything we do. Complementing this vibrant team is our advisory board, a group of seasoned experts whose collective experience exceeds 100 years. This balance of youthful enthusiasm and seasoned guidance enables us to innovate boldly while staying grounded in industry wisdom.
Tapping Into Emerging Trends
With the growing acceptance of subscription models, thanks to the widespread adoption of OTT platforms, selling SaaS in the industrial sector has become more seamless. We’re also leveraging the recent surge in digitalization and the significant growth in manufacturing spurred by the Make in India campaign. These trends align perfectly with our vision, positioning us to drive transformative change in the industry.
Challenges We’ve Overcome
We have faced a lot of technical and business-related challenges. But the biggest learning is that not all B2B customers are equal. Some need more support than others and it is okay to price your product higher for them.
Where We're Headed
In the next five years, our goal is to establish ourselves as the leading home-grown brand for industrial-grade IoT software and hardware. As the world becomes increasingly connected, we’re also looking to expand into the home automation and IoT markets. With our products already proven for their reliability in industrial settings, we’re confident they will meet the evolving demands of the consumer market as it matures.
How the eChai Community Can Help
We are looking for referrals in factories, we are also keen on working with consultants who give consultancies to the factories. We will also be raising out angel round this year and will be looking for potential investors, so if you are someone who is interested in us, we will love to take you out for a coffee sometime.

Biziverse: The Business Universe
What We Do
Biziverse, our startup, offers a single platform for Indian businesses to manage their operations and get new business opportunities. It covers ERP & CRM software tools, along with various B2B platforms, thus serving as a "Business Universe". Further, it simplifies ERP & CRM software and makes it very easily affordable, so that even the smallest business can be empowered to become a smart business.
How It All Began
The idle time during the Covid19 lockdown inspired us to wonder why, despite there being hundreds of ERP software options, most small businesses have been unable to apply technology beyond accounting and spreadsheets. We set Rs. 1000 to 2000 per year as the target price, and designed a business model and optimized systems to deliver easy and low-cost ERP software profitably.
What Makes us Tick
Biziverse makes business software (ERP & CRM) more than 10X lower cost for growing businesses, while offering faster and better support. Even while thousands of businesses access it every day, our team of hardly six support executives maintains a response time of under 2 minutes, even on Sundays. Our system designs for sales automation, support optimization, and scalability make this possible.
Traction So Far
Frankly, Biziverse has exceeded our own expectations so far. In the four years since our launch in late-2020, more than 44,000 businesses have purchased a Biziverse subscription. These range from small shops to large publicly listed corporations, located across India, from Ladakh to Lakshadweep. We have raised about Rs. 4.5 crore, and operate on a gross-profitable basis.
Meet the Team
The culture of our startup combines traditional family principles with youthful energy for creative disruption. Each of us founders (my father, brother, and I) studied and returned from the US with the passion to participate in India's growth, and Biziverse is built with this mission as well. We work with a highly empowered team of talented engineers and managers, recruited from some of the best universities here, who share this spirit that by building smart businesses, we can make a Strong India.
Tapping Into Emerging Trends
It is wonderful to see that Indian entrepreneurs, of every size and demographic, are more aspiring than ever. They have embraced mobile and Internet technology. Governmental reforms like GST, UPI, and low-cost Internet further encourage this trend. As these businesses face competition from global suppliers and funded startups, they increasingly see the usefulness of smart tools like ERP and CRM to become efficient and customer-centric. Our low-cost pricing and easy interface inspires them to choose Biziverse first.
Challenges We’ve Overcome
Our biggest challenge has been to optimize customer acquisition. While our operating costs, second year onwards, are hardly Rs. 10 per customer, and our support is also very optimized, our biggest cost is sales, especially as some of our competitors have more than 100X our financial muscle. We resolved this by tweaking our business model, and offering the first year at only a token price, while assuring a fairly low renewal rate next year. This encourages businesses to give Biziverse a chance first.
Where We're Headed
Biziverse stands for and aims to be the "Business Universe". Even as we started with ERP and CRM software, we channel the attention of business users to actively participate in our platforms to find business opportunities, to promote their creations, to find better vendors, and to build synergy with other businesses. We will soon launch partnerships to offer external services to businesses, ranging from travel to recruitment to advisory services. Thus, Biziverse will be the single source for business owners for operations and opportunities and more.
How the eChai Community Can Help
eChai has been a wonderful source for us to learn from peers, as we interact with other progressive startups pursuing diverse spaces. In the coming future, we count on eChai to connect for potential B2B partnerships and VC fundraising.

Eureka moment
Our journey at Writco has been filled with eureka moments that have left us with goosebumps. One such moment was when we acquired our first one lakh users in less than a year. It was a remarkable achievement that highlighted the impact and value of our product.
But that wasn't the only highlight of our year. In the very same year, Writco was recognized as the 'Best Personal Growth App of 2020' by Google Play. This was a proud moment for our team, as it validated the hard work and dedication that we put into developing our platform.
These moments have been a source of inspiration for us, driving us to continue pushing boundaries and achieving even greater success.
Business model
It's important to wait for a solid business model and revenue strategy before implementing any monetisation strategies. However, here are some potential ways to generate revenue for a literature-related platform:
1. Premium Subscriptions: Offer exclusive content and additional features to users who pay for a premium subscription. This could include early access to new releases, personalised book recommendations, and access to a community of readers.
2. In-App Currency: Allow users to purchase books and subscriptions using coins that they can add to their wallet. Users could also earn reward coins for completing certain actions on the platform, such as leaving reviews or recommending books to friends.
3. Licensing and Partnerships: Sell book rights for screen adaptation to movie or TV production companies. This could generate a significant amount of revenue, as well as increase the visibility and popularity of the original book.
4. Selling Products and Merchandise: Sell physical and digital products related to the books, such as e-books, diaries, t-shirts, frames, and gift articles. This could include both original content and branded merchandise.
5. Advertising & Sponsorship Deals: Offer sponsored content, display ads, workshops, and events to businesses that want to reach book lovers. This could include partnerships with publishers, authors, and other book-related organisations.
6. Affiliate Marketing & Consultancy Services: Offer book editing, publishing, and marketing services to authors and publishers. This could include affiliate marketing deals with other book-related businesses, as well as consultancy services to help authors and publishers promote their work.
Traction
We are thrilled to share that our platform has achieved impressive traction, boasting over 8,000 daily active users and 65,000 monthly active users. With a total user base of 220,000+ individuals, we take pride in the fact that all of our users have been acquired organically and without spending a penny on advertising, online or offline.
Our team's expertise in organic marketing has allowed us to grow steadily and consistently, with our users generating over 1.3 million pieces of content in the form of stories, poems, and quotes. And the icing on the cake? We've also been able to generate more than 1 million INR in revenue over the last 18 months through our first revenue model, a subscription-based service.
We are grateful for the trust and loyalty our users have placed in us, and we look forward to continuing to provide a platform that empowers creativity and authentic expression.
Community support
we understand the power of networking and the importance of learning from other startups and founders. We believe that by connecting with like-minded individuals and learning from their experiences, we can gain invaluable insights that will help us grow and succeed.
In addition to networking, we are also planning to raise a Seed Investment Round. The funding will enable us to scale our business faster, expand our reach globally, and build an even stronger community. We are confident that with the right support and resources, we can achieve our vision of creating a thriving community of passionate individuals who share a love of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Tusker is a NO code AI Vision platform, which helps the entire Business Community by Automating their Computer Vision project in span of just few hours instead of weeks without knowledge about AI.
About the team
TUSKER AI Co-Founders worked on similar initiatives, and they also ran a couple of Bootstrap start-ups successfully for the past decade.
They were professionals and worked in a Similar domain for the last 5 years where the computer Vision and Surveillance Industry were part of it but it Lacked Automation.
So, this leads to thinking more about Innovation and Product Automation. So, in a nutshell, they are similar tech-savvy like-minded Entrepreneurs who have been working with a similar vision for almost a decade now.
TUSKER AI’s co-founders were colleagues first, then friends, then became people having the same enthusiasm, and now a couple of innovators working on the same Vision to revolutionize and democratize AI.
Eureka moment
Well Eureka moment for me itself had a long journey and after serving in the IT sector for over a decade now the pain point for me was crystal clear and I was cent percent sure what is my next goal for my community and how I can be suitable for solving this.
As an entrepreneur for over a decade and coming from the Artificial Intelligence domain, I always wonder what more can be done to make people's lives easy.
Also, as an AI Technologist and as a business owner, I should have the liberty to experiment with AI without having core coding knowledge and generate AI models.
How does it work?
Business model
