I, Hunny Bhagchandani, Founder of TorchIt, social innovator share a keen sense to bring change in the society by empowering the differently abled community with the Power of Independence. 

Growing up in a modern Sindhi business family in Ahmedabad, I acquired the traits of being compassionate while also bringing economics to everything where if a thing is not effective and sustainable, it wouldn’t survive the test of time. 

I pursued my Bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), India. I have to my credit Leadership Innovation fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK; also, fellow at Enabling Toys, MIT Media Lab, US. 

The idea behind TorchIt remains to bring innovative products for Differently Abled community, so they can lead their lives independently. 

Living my best days building Bummer in an industry I am extremely passionate about. 

We are solving for India's 200M+ digital millennials who have chosen fashion/style in all forms of their clothing EXCEPT underwear.

I enjoy learning about anything and everything interesting happening in the start-up ecosystem in India & Globally. Particular interests in Innovative textiles, sustainable manufacturing practices and apparel production.
