This edition is Zerodha. India's largest broker, built with no sales team and effectively no ad spend, sitting on a revenue base concentrated in a way most founders would call a risk. We will work the decision from its own numbers, then compare the calls the teams make against what Zerodha actually did. The Strategic Room is a live case study session. Each edition takes one company, Indian or global, and puts you inside a decision it actually faced, built from its filings and public reporting rather than a retelling of the story. You will not be sitting and listening. Everyone splits into teams, gets handed the dilemma, argues it out, and pitches a call. Then we look at what the company actually did, and why. Each edition stands on its own, so you can come to any one of them without having been to the last. You walk out with a framework you can use on your own business (revenue concentration risk, build versus buy, growth versus profitability), practice defending a decision in front of peers under time pressure, and a Risk Card carrying one written line naming the biggest strategic risk sitting inside your own startup. The Strategic Room runs every alternate Friday at DraperU India in Hyderabad. This edition runs from 6 pm to 8 pm, with time to talk and network after.
Or just turn up.
