eChai Ventures and Upsquare are launching AI Actions Lab, a joint initiative to help founders, businesses, industries, professionals, and institutions across India explore and adopt AI in their work. As part of AI Actions Lab, we are hosting AI Cafe every Friday, 4 pm to 7 pm at House of Starts, Ahmedabad. Chai and cookies on the house. Bring your laptop. Wi-Fi is sorted. Pull up a chair and get to work. AI Cafe is the simplest version of what a lot of people are looking for. A place to show up, do your work, and be around others who are curious about AI or actively building with it. You set your own agenda. Work on what matters to you. Good things happen when interesting people share a table. The folks next to you might be shipping a product, learning a new tool, running experiments, or figuring out where AI fits into their business. Conversations happen naturally. You compare notes, swap tools, help each other debug something. Some of the best ideas come from these unplanned exchanges. Towards the end, some folks showcase what they are working on. Quick demos, works in progress, early experiments. Completely optional, but always interesting. If you are in Ahmedabad and looking to talk, meet, and find other people who are into AI, this is your spot. Every Friday. Same time. Same place.

Each partnership comes with presence across eChai, introductions to the right founders, and a team that stays involved through the year. And each one is shaped around what the brand wants out of it.
Who you meet

Every week we hear what founders are building, what they recommend to each other and what they have moved on from. Twice a year we go through what it means for your category. In between we answer, or find a founder who can.

The tick and your company's mark sit beside your name across eChai, and lists of founders put the blue ticks first: your city's people, the directory, and the roster of every gathering you go to, after its hosts and speakers.

Where your company is on a city's map of its startups, it is drawn by your mark rather than a dot, opens on your own words and pictures, and is a stop on the tour the map offers of its partner brands.

You write and speak here under your own name.
You come into the series we run online (How Founders Use AI, the founder conversations, the long reads) where you have something real to say, and you write in Founder Notes, where founders across our cities write about what they are building.

How it works.
A partnership is for growth stage founders who want to come in as a partner brand, and it runs one year at a time. The brand fee for the year is paid to eChai. An affiliate share runs alongside it, linked to the outcomes we drive together. Both carry GST.
