Zen Cafe at Ahmedabad ni Gufa
Zen Cafe, Ahmedabad ni Gufa has always been one of my favourite third spaces in Ahmedabad. There’s something about the quiet, creative atmosphere there that makes conversations flow differently and ideas come more naturally.
I’ve spent many hours there thinking through business ideas, having interesting conversations and simply stepping away from the usual office environment. One of the things I love most is that it doesn’t feel like “work”, yet some of the best thinking happens there.
For me, Zen Cafe is a reminder that sometimes changing your surroundings is enough to change your perspective.
Starbucks
I'm a chai person who somehow fell for coffee. In Mumbai, Starbucks is my third place. I have a specific corner, a good view of the street, and soft music that helps me focus.
One memory: I was working from home alone, feeling low and unmotivated, so I decided to get dressed and go to Starbucks. It worked instantly. I hit flow that day, got unstuck on something I'd been working on for a while, and left feeling like myself again.

When I'm in Nagpur visiting my parents, it's Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters. (FYI their Vietnamese cold brew is excellent.)
Starbucks has probably been my favourite “third space” to work from, both back home in Ahmedabad and whenever I’m in Delhi, especially at Aerocity.
Over the years, it has become more than just a place to grab coffee. I’ve taken client meetings there, joined online conferences between appointments, prepared for important conversations, and sometimes simply opened my laptop and worked for a few uninterrupted hours.
There isn’t one single big memory that stands out. What I like more is that Starbucks has quietly been the backdrop to many different moments in my journey as a founder: meetings, ideas, conversations and decisions, across different cities.
For me, that familiarity is what makes it a great third space. Different city, same coffee, laptop open, and you’re back in work mode.

An Airbnb in Mysore
Was working on getting our pitch deck just right, and needed a calm, quiet place away from the city. We picked Mysore, close to nature. All of us set up laptops on one long table, brainstormed together, then split up tasks for ourselves. Came out of it with a pitch deck we were actually proud of.
A hacker house in Bangalore
A cozy place to stay and work with like-minded founders. The fun part, we'd set timers for each other to finish a task or module, then jump into live pitches, product improvement rounds, brainstorming, and mini hackathons. Work felt like a game there.
Goa
Morjim, Goa
Love to work from Goa with my Co-founders. Don't get that opportunity frequently now. One pleasant memory was a 9 am decision that we took, while we were tired from travel and there were multiple iterations done on finalizing a name for one of our subsidiary. Finally, we were able to shortlist a name for the subsidiary.
This is at Morjim beach. But have worked at "W Goa", "Grand Hyatt Goa", then multiple Villas at Morjim.
Third Wave Coffee
Apart from my office and YMCA club, I spent a lot of time at Third Wave Cafe on corporate road. It is a me time for me. I enjoy a coffee or a coffee based drink, surf a lot on the internet. Watch movies and thriller series. This is a place for rejuvenating myself, and helps me stay fresh and clear my mind as I reflect a lot here and enjoy the solitude!
My third space would be the OG Third Wave cafe near Maharaja Signal, Koramangala.
It has become one of those places I keep going back to when I need to think clearly outside the usual office-home loop. The familiar playlist, good coffee, reliable internet, warm baristas, and the kind of folks who keep visiting there make it an amazing experience.
A lot of my between-meeting work happens there, reviewing decks, writing posts, thinking through product or GTM ideas, and sometimes just resetting after a long day.
For me, it is less of a cafe now and more of a small thinking corner in Koramangala.

The Palms at The Belvedere Golf & Country Club
The Palms at The Belvedere Golf & Country Club is probably my favourite third space.
I like the calm setting, good coffee, and the aqua garden view. It gives me enough distance from the usual office routine to think clearly.
Some of my best founder conversations and product ideas have taken shape over long coffees here.

The garden swing and the couch at home
For me, some of the best FactsScan ideas have come from two simple places at home, a garden swing and a quiet couch.
The swing is where I think about the bigger vision. The couch is where many weekend mentor conversations, challenges and important decisions have unfolded.
I've realised that sometimes, you don't need more working hours. You need a little space to pause, think and ask better questions.

As a regular visitor to Mainline Coffee Cafe, what keeps bringing me back is the overall experience. The coffee is consistently good, the space feels warm and thoughtfully designed, and there’s a certain calm energy that makes it equally comfortable for working, meeting someone, or just spending some time alone. It doesn’t feel like a place you visit once for the hype, it feels like the kind of café that slowly becomes part of your routine.

YMCA
My favourite space to work from, the third space, is the YMCA. I've been a regular visitor to the YMCA for a long time and have attended many meetings there.
One of my core memories is that it was my go-to place when I was struggling to find the right niche. We had so many conversations and pitches with mentors and others around me. I think I spent a good six to eight months there, and it became a deep workspace for me when I was struggling.
It's Monday evening at YMCA is where i look forward to seat, and meet eChai Friends and it's always refershing to just seat brainstorm without an agenda. Good Environment, good conversation & most important good company of of friends. one of the memories was celebrating my birthday there which is memorable. gesture like this feels unforgettable and gives meaning to life.

HOP Café at DoubleTree
HOP Café at DoubleTree is my default base in Ahmedabad: good for focused work in the mornings, and by afternoon it turns into an unofficial eChai adda. Most of my sharpest business conversations happen there unplanned: founders comparing notes on what’s actually working, not what’s on LinkedIn.
