I’m a business analyst who came up through operations. I spent about 20 years in New Zealand running stores and sites, leading teams and fixing broken processes, before I ever learned the frameworks. Then I moved into product owner and BA work, including a year at a SaaS startup.

I moved to Winnipeg in 2022 and started over. That’s why I started rethink normal, a Canadian personal finance channel and website that explains credit, banking and saving in plain language, with sources. A new video goes out every Wednesday.

I built my own production system to make those videos, because off-the-shelf AI tools couldn’t keep scenes consistent or give me enough control. That system is now becoming vbe | video build engine. I built it with AI-assisted development, and every stage stops for a human to check it before moving on.
