Apeksha Jain, ex-French-teacher and Food Blogger-turnedentrepreneur, is the Founder of The Gourmet Jar, a brand of premium and innovative condiments that are completely natural and preservative-free. Apeksha is an Economics graduate from Lady Shriram College, Delhi and has no formal training in cooking or making preserves.
She is a self-taught conEiturier who’s passion for cooking is guided by her instinct and a husband that loves food! The inspiration for her business came when Apeksha discovered the world of artisanal preserves & condiments during her one year stay in Paris.
The banana jam was something she Eirst tasted at a small orchard in Burgundy, and it was love at Eirst bite. Apeksha was conferred an award for being an “Exceptional Woman of Excellence” by the Women Economic Forum, Delhi in 2017.
Apart from experimenting in the kitchen, Apeksha loves traveling and exploring new countries and cultures, learning new languages and kickboxing.

We follow a made-from-scratch, small-batch philosophy, that ensures every jar is packed with Elavour.
All our products are made with a lot of love, care & attention put in by our team of smiling & hard-working women who ensure you get the perfect balance of Elavours in every jar! We source most of our ingredients from farmers across the country to ensure we use only the best quality of produce.
