I am a software QA professional with 20+ years of experience, following a diverse career journey across electronics, software development, and enterprise applications.
After completing my B.E. in Electronics Engineering in the late 1990s, I worked in plant maintenance, technical support, and sales in the electronics industry. I then moved into enterprise software development, working with VB, Oracle, and Crystal Reports, before transitioning into software QA.
I have worked with organizations ranging from small teams of two to enterprises with around 200,000 employees, across Ahmedabad, Pune, and Bangalore, and collaborated with clients in India and the USA.
I have witnessed software testing evolve from its nascent stages into a mature discipline and worked across Waterfall, V-model, and Agile delivery approaches.
My expertise includes functional and regression testing, test strategy, financial calculations, business-rule validation, defect management, and QA process improvement.
I believe QA is more than finding defects—it is about understanding business context, identifying risks early, challenging assumptions, and ensuring reliable software that delivers business value.
I am expanding my skills in API testing, test automation, and AI-driven testing, particularly exploring how AI can improve software quality while accounting for real-world business context.
