Building

Shashank Shwet, founder & CEO at ImaginXP is a serial entrepreneur, prolific speaker, distinguished blogger and a passionate educationist. He started his professional journey as an entrepreneur and has founded, led and exited various startups in the space of technology and design. In his last avatar he served as the partner at EY at the age of 31 and helped various Fortune 500 companies innovate, scale and grow in the digitally evolving world that we live in. He has also worked with the Government and Niti Aayog on various platforms such as “Champions of Change” - a special consortium of young CEOs as a think tank for impacting change in policy.

His experience in the corporate world and realisation of the deplorable skill and employability gap which exists between academics and industry was a driving factor behind the core philosophy of ImaginXP. He wanted to bring sustainable impact in the Indian education system and help create value, employability and quality for the young workforce of India.

A wanderer at heart he has spent many a day on the road travelling all over rural and semi urban India to understand the unique landscape and create an education solution for the next half a billion students. It is his personal mission to help raise the GER of India above the current 26% and come to par with developed countries. Under his leadership, ImaginXP is on a mission to improve quality of higher education, increase ROI for universities and focus on future skills & employability.

As an educationist he is also the author of various books on business, design and technology such as a “Practitioner’s guide to Empathy & User Research”
