I’m a robotics engineer and founder building at the intersection of closed-loop control systems, physical hardware, and clinical healthcare.
My background is rooted in mechanical design, embedded software, and real-time control. During my time at the IISc. I was immersed in high-level engineering research, refining my approach to hardware prototyping, control dynamics, and rapid iteration in rigorous academic labs. Before founding Ziroc, I built the search-and-rescue system as a course project, using ROS 2, Gazebo, and Python/C++.
I'm now building VALC, a powered lower-limb rehab exoskeleton for small physiotherapy clinics. Powered gait-assist systems cost roughly ₹28 lakh to ₹2 crore (Astrek, G-gaiter),which keeps them in large hospitals. We're aiming for a far cheaper machine using local manufacturing and real-time joint-torque control, offered to clinics as a rental service.
We're incorporated, have done several physiotherapist interviews, and are building a single-joint bench demo ahead of a single-leg prototype. ..] I'm looking for angels and mentors who know medtech hardware and the CDSCO process.
