I’m Yash Vyas, from Deesa, Gujarat. I come from a middle-class family and have always been interested in building something of my own. I completed my BA in English and started my career with a job at a travel agency.
My first entrepreneurial venture was a mobile shop, which I ran for around six years. Being on the ground and working directly with customers helped me understand the everyday challenges local businesses face — especially around visibility, technology, customer reach and convenience. That experience eventually led me to the idea of Owsho in 2023.
I’m now building Owsho, a platform that brings local shops online and helps customers discover nearby products and get everyday essentials delivered in minutes. I’m building it from the ground up, with a strong focus on solving real local problems rather than just building another app.
I care about entrepreneurship, practical problem-solving, local businesses, and building products that create real value for both customers and businesses. I’m here to learn, meet people who are building interesting things, and find the right people to learn and build with.
