Last week, I had the privilege of moderating a fireside chat with Aakash Gupta, a celebrated leader in product management, at an event hosted by Product Tank Mumbaiย and eChai Venturesย ๐ŸŒŸ

Aakash, the mind behind Product Growth, one of the worldโ€™s largest product management newsletters, shared invaluable insights on navigating the evolving landscape of product management. ๐Ÿš€

The event brought together over 120 passionate product management enthusiasts from Mumbai, creating a vibrant space for learning, networking, and exchanging ideas.

The energy in the room was electric, and the discussions showcased the incredible talent and potential within the Mumbai product community.

It was an honor to contribute to this gathering, and Iโ€™m grateful to have had the chance to interact with such a diverse and motivated audience.

Hereโ€™s to fostering more such conversations that shape the future of product innovation in Mumbai!

The event was co-hosted by eChai Ventures in partnership with Netcore Cloud.

Hereโ€™s the goldmine they shared:

๐—จ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜โ€™๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ: Forget chasing shiny innovations - ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜บ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ฃ๐˜ถ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ might just be your secret weapon. Udit peeled back the layers on how B2C solutions can harness AI to scale, thrive, and win in todayโ€™s crowded marketplace.

๐—ฅ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ธโ€™๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜: AI isnโ€™t just about possibilities; itโ€™s about ๐˜ฑ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ๐˜ถ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ. Rupak showcased how AI is revolutionizing the creation of production-grade videos, bridging creativity with scalability like never before.

The biggest lesson of the day? AI isnโ€™t the future - itโ€™s the ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ. Whether youโ€™re building for consumers or creating content, itโ€™s time to rethink how you leverage the power of AI to deliver value where it truly matters.
I had the pleasure of speaking at eChai Ventures AI Day

Weekend is always a preferred time for socializing, but when socializing happens along with learning with like-minded people, it is super awesome. Glad to share our journey from using tools to discovering use cases and finding the product-market fit for AiVANTA in our AI video space.

It was insightful to listen to Udit Goenka, who has done the journey of zero to one multiple times. Plus, his way of approaching building a product is something every aspiring co-founder should listen to.

Shubham Dumbre and Aanchal Verma๐Ÿ† made sure that the entire session was not just well managed but also very interactive. This structure gave participants the chance to ask their questions, and even we got to learn from them.

I request all of you reading this to follow eChai Ventures for such events in the near future and do attend them โ€” definitely a great way to socialize and learn with like-minded people on a Saturday!

Todayโ€™s Mumbai Start-up Meet with eChai Ventures at DevX Andheri was nothing short of inspiring!

No panelists this time โ€“ just a fantastic group of startup enthusiasts seated in a circular setup, sharing their unique stories. We heard everything from innovative startup ideas, the inspirations behind their entrepreneurial journeys, and the real challenges theyโ€™re facing at work. It was a truly collaborative and insightful session!

A huge thank you to Jatin Chaudhary, the driving force behind eChai Ventures, for organizing this incredible event. And a big shoutout to our venue partner, DevX for providing the perfect space for these meaningful conversations!

Lastly, a special thanks to everyone who attended and asked such thoughtful questions โ€“ your engagement made todayโ€™s meetup extra special.

it's a mind opener to know about a lot of new ideas and startup working to change the way the people use services or products.

eChai Ventures great show.
I took a break from my usual grind to host a marketing event with eChai Ventures, and it reminded me why stepping out of your comfort zone can be so rewarding.

As the founder of Vinaayak Digital my days are packed with helping Businesses with their marketing and media needs.

But occasionally, I get to dive into something different โ€“ like hosting events. And let me tell you, I absolutely love it!

This particular event was special for me. I had the pleasure of engaging with two incredible founders Vedant Sarda & Mitesh L Thakker and a dynamic audience. The energy in the room was fantastic, and the discussions were both insightful and inspiring.

Hosting events allows me to step away from my daily tasks, connect with amazing people, and learn new things.ย

Itโ€™s a refreshing change and a great reminder that itโ€™s essential to make time for things you enjoy, even when life gets busy.

This experience reinforced a valuable lesson: donโ€™t be afraid to try new things and follow your passions. Balancing work with what you love can bring a lot of joy and fulfillment.

So, whether youโ€™re deep into your professional life or exploring a new hobby, embrace those opportunities that make you happy. They can be incredibly rewarding.
Missed sharing this earlier but wanted to express my gratitude for being part of the vibrant eChai Ventures startup meet in Mumbai on 13th July!

The eChai community is renowned for bringing together innovative minds and fostering a spirit of collaboration and entrepreneurship.

It was great meeting fellow innovators and learning about the latest trends.

Special thanks to the organizers for curating such a fantastic event. Looking forward to attending the next one soon.

If youโ€™re struggling to sell your products or services,

then you havenโ€™t heard this guy speak.

About 8 weeks ago, I attended an eChai Ventures event where Udit Goenka came in as a speaker and shared his story about how he started his journey when he was only 16 years old.

Yesterday, I was honoured to host him and ask him more detailed questions about sales and building a successful business.

Hereโ€™s everything that we unpacked:

โžฅ Understanding your value proposition.
โžฅ Different ways to generate more sales.
โžฅ The need to create valuable content.
โžฅ Communication is the key to sales.
โžฅ Defining your target audience.
โžฅ Using case studies to convert.
โžฅ Building a strong community.
โžฅ Moment marketing strategy.
โžฅ Testing product market fit.
โžฅ Change in user behaviour.
โžฅ Pivoting your business.
โžฅ Accountability in sales.
โžฅ Demos and Webinars.
โžฅ Focusing on results.
โžฅ OPR, RTO and CRO.
โžฅ The right channels.
โžฅ Of course failures.

Well that wasn't it.

But imagine walking away with not just strategies, but a mindset shift that transforms how you approach every conversation in sales.

Thatโ€™s exactly what got delivered yesterday.

Thank you Jatin Chaudhary founder of eChai Ventures for making this happen and Udit Goenka for taking out the time to share your experience and provide valuable insights on sales.

P.S. I wrote this post at 1:00am last night and after processing the super insightful information gathered through this sales masterclass.

It was great fun moderating the panel discussion on 'Blockchain for Banking & Fintech' meetup in Mumbai for eChai Ventures (Jatin Chaudhary) in association with DevX.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Elucidated nuances around Web3.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Use cases that would gain traction in the BFSI space.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Ways inwhich regulated entities can foster adoption of blockchain tech.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Stance of govt on the regulations around blockchain & crypto.
๐Ÿ‘‰ How CBDC can bring the impetus required to Web3 in India.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Hardware and Software requirements for Web3 applications to function at scale.
๐Ÿ‘‰ What theoretical concepts in Web3 as on date can transcend into reality over the next few years.

It was a super event hosted by Malav Warke at DevX Andheri in Mumbai.

Honoured to be part of the speaker Panel. It was Great to meet Udit Goenka - and I realised that there is a lot to learn from him.

Eventful saturday, hosted the panel discussion and eChai Startup Demo Day in Mumbai for eChai Ventures (Jatin Chaudhary) in collaboration with DevX ๐Ÿ’ช.

Pawan Lakhwani (Dream Incubator) & Anuvrat Pandey (Prath Ventures) have graced the panel & shared the VC perspective on how startups should approach fund raising & building a cap table. ๐Ÿš€

Demoday encompassed pitches from:

1. Vaibhav Shenoy (Genius Search): A conversational search engine trying to revolutionize search experience but making it move interactive & converstational. ๐Ÿ”Ž

2. Hartaj Trehan (OptimX Sports): Helping sports team build & manage their website, online store, event roster and ticketing within 30 minutes. ๐Ÿ‰

3. Samar Raj (Way2Cure): Serving as a one stop solution for healthcare services and compassionate care, pre & post hospitalization. ๐Ÿฅ

4. Vijay Chouhan (Costan): Building a next generation tool for content creators and influencers. ๐ŸŒŽ

Had an amazing time on the eChai's panel discussion last weekend about D2C startups, alongside Sanil Jain of 'The Better Shop' and Aayush Poddar of 'The Messy Corner'. ๐Ÿš€

One of the highlights of the event was the exceptional quality of questions from the audience. ๐Ÿ’ก

Drawing from my own experiences, I was able to contribute to the discussion by sharing insights from my journey of building Clapper ๐ŸŽฌ, and working with SUGAR Cosmetics.

Building Clapper, has given me a unique perspective on engaging with a young and dynamic audience. Understanding their preferences and constantly innovating to meet their needs has been key to our success. ๐Ÿ’ช

Whereas working with SUGAR Cosmetics has helped to understand the significance of branding and marketing in the beauty and personal care sector.

I hope that the insights shared during the session will inspire others to embark on their own journey. ๐Ÿ™
What a fantastic session it was! ๐Ÿš€

First off, ๐Ÿ™Œ Huge thanks to Aanchal Verma for the incredible LinkedIn post summarizing the event.

๐Ÿ“ Your attention to detail and the key points covered are nothing short of phenomenal.

๐Ÿ‘ It's members like you who make these discussions even more impactful and enjoyable.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Being on the panel with such insightful individuals was truly an honor!

๐ŸŒ The perspectives shared were not only eye-opening but also invaluable. As a panelist, I walked away with exceptional insights that will undoubtedly shape the way our team approaches working with the government.

๐Ÿค Kudos to Sachin Bhavsar of Goa Myles and my fellow panelist Dhruv Chopra for inspiring this positive change towards government!

๐Ÿ˜„Hats off to Angana Chatterjee for bringing the perfect blend of humor and insight to our discussion! ๐Ÿคฃ

๐Ÿ™ Gratitude overflowing for eChai Ventures that provided an amazing platform to connect and collaborate! ๐ŸŒโœจ

โœจLastly, a huge shoutout to my biggest cheerleader Kanhai Porecha!
Here's to the one who believes in me even when I doubt myself. ๐Ÿฅ‚

๐Ÿ’ก I hope my contributions added value to the discussion, and it's heartening to witness connections being forged over this social platform.

๐Ÿค Let's keep the conversation going! ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ

๐Ÿ” Looking forward to staying connected with all of you.

๐ŸŒ Feel free to reach out via LinkedIn DM if you have any questions, thoughts, or just want to continue the conversation. ๐Ÿ“ฌ

๐Ÿš€ Here's to more insightful discussions, valuable connections, and positive transformations! ๐ŸŒŸ Let's make a difference together!
The founder will always be a founder no matter what he/she is doing currently, rightly said Dhruv Chopra .

Dhruv Chopra and Mohit Dubey along with other co founders found the problem of accuracy on road transport and started working on the solution and Chalo happened and the rest is history.

He is so humble and committed to the founder fraternity.
My question was answered with simple lines "every startup has its own pace, just be in the business and remember why have you started."

Thank you eChai Ventures for organising such events for betterment of the startup ecosystem, DevX gave an amazing hospitality.
