Ajay Jain

Ajay Jain has about 20+ years of experience in both corporate and start-ups and is a seasoned startup investor. 

He is the founder & managing partner of  Silverneedle Ventures Fund, an angel fund that will invest about 250K USD in technology enabled startups. 

The fund size would be around 15 MN USD & the fund has earmarked 35% of the capital for follow-on rounds. Previously as the founding partner of Xseed Consulting & IIITH Seed Fund, he invested in 30+ early-stage start-ups.  

This portfolio has an impressive IRR of 47% over the past 5 years. He has an MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB) and Master of Science degree from University of Arizona (USA). He was the Vice President, Incubation & Scaling at T-hub, India’s largest & fastest growing innovation centre. 

Previous to that he ran an education startup in the impact investment space which raised capital from Michael Susan Dell Foundation & Gray Matters Capital.
